Mechanical Static Engineer
Qualification:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience, preferably in EPC in Mechanical Static Engineering on Medium/ Large capital petrochemical from concept to start.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the design, selection, installation, and operation of mechanical static equipment, including pressure vessels, tanks, piping and fittings, valves, heat exchanger, and associated systems.
- Excellent knowledge and hands on experience with international Code & Standards like ASME, TEMA, API, AD2000, PD5500, DIN, JIS, ANSI, ASTM, etc. including excellent interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools commonly used in mechanical static equipment design and analysis such as Autocad, SAP 200, and others.
- Knowledge of process involving design, selection, procurement, installation, testing & commissioning of static services is required.
- Proven ability for equipment specification and selection and in ensuring compliance from the suppliers, preferably within an EPC contracting organization.
- Competent in Mechanical static protection methodologies with HAZOP experience.
- Knowledge of the project planning would be and added advantage.
- Problem Solving/Analysis.
- Execution excellence, team work, leadership, and result orientation.
